In this fascinating four-week series, Dr. Freeman will introduce you to outstanding women composers, including names you’ve heard – Hildegard von Bingen, Clara Schumann, Amy Beach, Lili Boulanger – and stellar composers you may be totally unfamiliar with, such as Barbara Stozzi, Francesca Caccini, Germaine Tailleferre and the unique figure of Clara Price.
